Gluskin always goes back and forth from calling you his beautiful “darling,” to a “whore” and a “slut” a mere couple of seconds later. Gluskin is also very inconsistent with his feelings and emotions towards the player, as you saw in the videos beforehand ( IF you looked at the videos… lol). This bring up more questions than answers… “To be the father I never had… Not like…” He’s also a sexist asshole, but a good villain nonetheless. Which is probably what makes Gluskin a good villain too: by taking away a man’s babymaker. Thanks to Gluskin, he’ll never view sex the same way again. He likes to remove some of your “buttons” too… You’re like his own personal toy, and he’s pressing all your buttons. Eddie Gluskin has a knack for making you feel like you’re on top of the world, and a big ol’ pile of shit at the same time. It’s this kind of talking down to the player that makes you feel less than human. It’s stuff like this that makes me glad I don’t live in the 50s, or whatever time period he’s got his head stuck in. But there were times where even I found myself screaming at my TV saying things like, “I’M A MAN, DAMMIT! A MAN!” or, “Please don’t take my weiner!”īut none of the cries for help really mattered in the end anyway. I can’t believe he actually tries to make you feel bad for trying to run away and not get killed! Then that split-psycho-personality comes in and he tries to chase after you and kill you.īut if you manage to get away, that’s when he starts calling you all sorts of awful, derogatory names, which makes the chase scenes that much more thrilling (but a little irritating too)! He compliments you and toys with you until he can find you. The scarier parts of the game is when he spends all of his time looking for you, trying to coax you out of hiding as if you were a sad, lost puppy. The only real difference is that one of them’s a pervert and the other’s a murdering psychopath. Both are extremely clingy and have trouble with simply asking a girl out. ![]() He looks at you and greets you earnestly, and proceeds to stare at you with a FUCKING CREEPY genuine smile on his face. When you first stumble upon him in the game, his appearance is very disturbing (and the music from this scene doesn’t help either). There’s nothing too odd about his physical appearance.īy that, I mean he’s not a zombie or an 8-legged tentacle monster or even a bipedal shark. So let’s take a deeper look, shall we? □Įddie Gluskin comes from the game Outlast: Whistleblower, a DLC (that’s “Downloadable Content” for you non-gamers) from the main game Outlast. He’s simply one of many deranged and frightening characters that want to torture and kill the player in as many gruesome ways as possible.įans of the main game are already familiar with its villains…īut while these characters are horrifying in their own right, Eddie Gluskin has to be, by far, the scariest motherfucker out of all of the Outlast characters! He’s on a search for the perfect “woman” to be his perfect “bride.” But his methods in doing so make players all over the world wince at their TV screens and cross their legs in disgust. This video game character is definitely a villain worth talking about! Twisted, brutal, psychotic, and misogynistic, Eddie Gluskin has a kind of fear that truly scares the pants off of us gamers.
